The Pattern Studio is where AI-generated designs become tangible garments.
## Getting Started
Navigate to any fit you've created and click "Generate Pattern." The AI will analyze the garment's silhouette, construction details, and your saved measurements to produce a set of pattern pieces.
## Understanding Pattern Pieces
Each generated pattern includes:
- **Front bodice** — The main front panel
- **Back bodice** — The main back panel
- **Sleeves** — Left and right sleeve pieces
- **Collar/Neckline** — Finishing pieces
- **Seam allowances** — Automatically calculated
## Exporting Your Pattern
Patterns can be exported in three formats:
1. **SVG** — For digital viewing and sharing
2. **PDF** — For home printing (tiled across A4/Letter sheets)
3. **DXF** — For professional cutting machines
## Tips for Best Results
- Always verify your measurements are up to date before generating
- Use the "Refine" feature to adjust ease and fit preferences
- Export a test pattern in PDF first to verify scale
