What worked
- Knee-length proportion and front overlap drape provided clean walking ease with zero hem swing.
- Two-piece sleeve pitch aligned naturally with the arm in neutral standing posture.
- Integrated collar stand and upper collar broke cleanly over the lapel gorge.
What needed adjusting
- Sleeve cap had ~1.2 cm excess ease for heavy 480 gsm melton; shaved 4 mm off top crown to prevent dimpling.
- Flap pocket entrance sat 2 cm higher than comfortable for natural hand resting; shifted 2.5 cm down.
